Meet the owner
Meet Natalya, the owner and founder of True Friends Pet Care – Professional Dog Walking and Pet Sitting company in Thousand Oaks, CA.
Natalya’s love for animals began at a very young age and has grown stronger throughout her life. She was raised in a family where compassion and love for all creatures was supported, cherished and encouraged.
Her strong passion for animals led her to receive a Degree in Veterinary Medicine in her home country. However, during the final year of studying she realized that she couldn’t stand seeing animals suffer or watch when they’re in pain, convincing her that this occupation was not for her.
After graduation, Natalya was looking for a job in the pet care industry, this brought her to a local Pet Resort. She cared for all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, ferrets, bunnies, hamsters, mini pigs, tortoises, rats and parrots. She gained so much valuable and versatile pet care experience and knowledge. Volunteering at a local dog rescue was another great chapter in her life.
One day, after helping her neighbor take care of her dog and cat, she awoke with the idea of having her own business where she could combine unconditional love for animals and helping pet parents care for their fur kids.

— Fun facts
In her spare time, Natalya enjoys reading, acrylic painting, watching movies with happy endings and being surrounded by her fur babies: a former feral orange tabby cat, who turned out to be a huge love bug and a 145 lb spoiled pup. She loves to practice yoga, enjoys healthy eating, nature and spending time on or near the ocean. Kayaking is one of her favorite outdoor activities.
Natalya is passionate about hockey, she is an LA Kings Fan.
